About Empower EuropeAbout UsFunded by EQUAL ‘EMPOWER’ is a European wide partnership of organizations from Italy, Lithuania, Malta, Northern Ireland and Spain. EQUAL is part of the European Union's strategy for creating equality of opportunity by ensuring that no one is denied access to jobs. It tests new ways of tackling the inequalities experienced by people looking for work. To this end ‘EMPOWER’ brings together the key players from different geographical areas and sectors to pool their different types of expertise and experience. It aims to develop new ways of dealing with the inequalities faced by lone parents and women who wish to enter the labour market. Each partner contributes to an exchange of information and expertise and works to develop products which can be used as shared resources for all the partners both locally and at transnational level. This website is dedicated to promoting the work of the ‘EMPOWER’ partnership and the wider EQUAL initiative. |
